Solemn Mass in Grüssau

On 7 July, the second anniversary of the publication of the motu proprio Summorum Pontificum, and to conclude a workshop in the Extraordinary Form, a Solemn Mass was celebrated in the Abbey Church of Grüssau (Krzeszów) in Silesia, Poland. sanctus.pl offers us some wonderful photos.

More on the Recent Ordinations of the Institut du Bon Pasteur

The Institut du Bon Pasteur (Institute of the Good Shepherd) recently had the ordination of two young men to the priesthood -- one of whom I had the pleasure to meet a year ago.


The IBP have now put up their official photo album from that ordination, which we were not able to provide in the previous story.

These photos are also worth sharing for the reason they show the very splendid architecture of the basilica in which it was offered, that of Sainte-Anne d'Auray in the Breton region of France.

Usus Antiquior News from Poland

In the Franciscan church of St. Anthony in Poznań (Posen), H.E. Grzegorz Balcerek, auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Poznań, sung Pontifical Mass on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the establishment of a regular celebration of Mass in the usus antiquior in Poznań. The Polish blog Pod Mitrą has excellent images of the occasion, of which here is a selection:
